Fund a Mural 001: West Coastin’

Support our Public Mural Movement by purchasing a tax deductible donation item.

WHY:

In 2016, building waterproofing caused our original “West Coast” mural to be erased and an opportunity for us to update it. This new mural design, West Coastin’, is a modern remix version of our West Coast mural from 2011 and its intentions to capture our CA lifestyle. We feel it’s important to reclaim and update our mural to inspire the Bay Area again during these challenging times.

This mural site is at 1699 Pennsylvania, San Francisco, CA, approximately 85’ wide x 25’ tall, and is seen by around 150,000 drivers daily. Aside from being directly visible from either side of the 280 freeway, this mural is viewable and lives in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill/Dogpatch neighborhoods.

We have a funding gap of $8.5k which covers materials, equipment, and labor.

With your contribution, we can purchase the necessary materials and fairly compensate our artists for their time and skills. Every dollar goes directly towards turning lifeless walls into colorful, impactful murals that everyone can enjoy. Together, we can create lasting art that brightens our neighborhoods and brings people together.
